Liquid potassium formate is a high-density aqueous brine — potassium formate (HCOOK) already dissolved and ready to go, at 50% or 75% concentration, looking like a clear to pale yellow liquid. At 75%, it hits 1.58 g/cm³ density and won't freeze above -50°C. No mixing step, no dissolving equipment, no waiting around. Just pump it and use it. That's the whole value proposition: immediate deployment. Airport crews spray it. Drilling crews pump it downhole. For operations where response time matters more than shipping economics, this is the format that wins.

Specs at 75%: density minimum 1.58 g/cm³ at 20°C, freezing point -50°C or lower, pH 9.0–11.0 at 25°C. KOH not over 0.5%, K2CO3 not over 0.5%, KCl not over 0.2%. Turbidity under 10 NTU — clarity is a quick visual check that nothing's gone wrong during transport. Completely miscible with water. Non-hazardous for transport — ships as general cargo, no placards. Packaging: 1000 L IBC totes (about 1.57 MT net each) or bulk tanker trucks for volume orders.

Airport operations teams use this as their primary runway deicing fluid. It penetrates and breaks ice bonds in minutes, prevents re-freezing, and leaves nothing behind that could affect aircraft braking performance.
